Edie Eckman, author of Quick-to-Knit Baby Hats & Socks, is the former owner of a yarn shop. She teaches knitting and crochet design classes at conferences and knitting guilds throughout the United States. Her designs and techniques have been published in a variety of magazines and booklets. She lives in Waynesboro, Virginia.
