Tony Fox was born in the UK and moved to North America in 1969. He completed an engineering apprenticeship with the Austin Motor Company, which later became British Motor Corp. He worked for BMC until moving to Canada and joining Massey Ferguson, where he was involved with most aspects of engineering. His interest in the Triumph Stag started in 1991 when he purchased his first car in Texas. This was quickly followed by a second car, which he drove back from California and continues to own to this day. A succession of ten other Stags came and went. His interest in British cars extends to his membership of several car clubs; he is Vice President of the British Saloon Car Club of Canada, Director for the Triumph Stag Club USA, and coordinator for the Stag in the Toronto Triumph Club.
