Santa Fe Railway

Perhaps the most well-known railroad in transportation history, the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway grew from humble beginnings in 1868 to a high-flying icon of the American West known more simply as “the Santa Fe.” In 1995, it merged with Burlington Northern and today its legacy survives as part of BNSF Railway.
