Caboose

Well Brian Solomon brings us a great new photography book "CABOOSE" highlighting the different styles of cabooses on North American railroads. Solomon draws from his vast collection of photographs, as well as the collections of other noted railroad artists to capture the caboose in many environments. Not only does the book cover historical operations of the caboose, it also highlights photographs of restored and preserved cabooses around the country. CABOOSE is the newest in Voyageur Press's Gallery series which are dedicated to providing images without a lot of text. The 200+ photographs selected by Solomon are a combination of black-and-white and color shots and cover a wide variety of U.S. and Canadian railroads. Each photograph is well captioned to describe where it was taken. I recommend picking up a copy of CABOOSE to bring back fond memories as well as teach you about days gone by.
