A bit of trim work can dress up a room, affect a period style, or better define space. Berry (Architectural Hardware) here defines trim types and period styles with very glamorous room shots, pinpointing specific elements. While some installation instruction is given, it is very cursory. For better instruction, see Neal Barrett's Ultimate Guide to Trim Carpentry. Berry's polished and beautiful book is meant to inspire more than to instruct. Recommended for larger collections. --Library Journal, June 1, 2007
